Who we are

This website is run by Anylan Computer Education Welfare Association ("Anylan Foundation", "we"), a society registered in Madhya Pradesh (Reg. No. 03/27/01/22909/20, 26 November 2020), based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. We decide why and how your personal data is processed, so under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) we are the Data Fiduciary for it.

What we collect

• When you fill in a form: your name, organisation, designation, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, region, the programs you're interested in, and anything you write in your message.
• When you email, call or message us on WhatsApp: your contact details and what you send us.
• When you visit the site: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run and secure the site.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. This website is meant for adults, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal data through it.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and send you the plan, proposal or information you asked for.
• To match volunteers with a role, school or student team.
• To keep a record of our conversations with CSR partners, schools and volunteers.
• To keep the website running and secure.

We process your data because you gave it to us for these purposes and agreed to be contacted. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share your data only with service providers that help us run this website and respond to you, and only for those purposes:

• GoHighLevel, our customer relationship management system, which receives and stores form submissions. Its forms are embedded on this site and may set cookies they need to work.
• Google, through Firebase Hosting (which serves this website), Google Fonts (which serves the fonts it uses).
• WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there.

Some of these providers process data outside India. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete it.

Students' data in our labs

Our school labs are designed so that students' work stays on the school's own devices: every kit works offline. Photos of students appear on this website only with consent.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you, to correct, complete or update it, or to erase it. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and you can nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before it.

To make a request or raise a concern, email connect@anylanfoundation.org with the subject "Privacy request". If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
