Offline AI Lab
Students learn how large language models work, write better prompts and create their own chatbots by writing their instructions. No internet needed.

An offline AI lab where students from Grade 6 design their own chatbots, short AI workshops, the Robotics & AI Lab for Grades 3–9, and AI training for teachers. Not sure which one you need? We'll help you choose.

An AI lab for schools is a program where students learn how artificial intelligence works by using it, training it and shaping it. At Anylan Foundation it can mean an offline lab where students from Grade 6 create their own chatbots by writing the instructions that shape them, a Robotics & AI Lab where Grades 3–9 train AI models that see and sort, a one-day AI workshop, or AI training for the teachers themselves. Every student program runs offline, so children's data stays in the school. These AI programs are part of Anylan Foundation's STEM labs for government schools.

Enquire →Teachers learn to use AI chat tools well for planning and teaching, keep student data private, and earn a Google course certificate.
See the program →Students build robots and train AI models that see and sort, using Teachable Machine inside our offline editors, Mcode and Groblox.
See the lab →Each team of four shares a Raspberry Pi 5 that runs an AI language model itself, inside the classroom. Students find out how the model works, learn to ask it well, and design a chatbot for a need they care about.
Students don't train a model or write code. They design how an existing AI model behaves, the same way companies set up customer-service chatbots.
Learning journey · saffron step for higher grades
A one-day, hands-on workshop in Hindi and English, in person for batches of 30 teachers or online, that helps teachers use AI chat tools to save preparation time and teach better, safely.
Draft lesson plans, worksheets and questions at different levels, then improve them with the teacher's own judgement.
Spot errors and made-up facts, and check AI answers before they reach a classroom.
What never goes into a public chatbot, in line with India's DPDP Act, 2023.
Includes Google's free course, Generative AI for Educators with Gemini. Teachers complete the two-hour course, made by Google with MIT RAISE, during the workshop and earn its certificate of completion from Google.
Google, Gemini and NotebookLM are trademarks of Google LLC. The course is free on Grow with Google. Anylan Foundation is not affiliated with Google. This program needs internet for the teachers' sessions.

Yes. In the Offline AI Lab, Google's open-weight Gemma 4 model runs on a Raspberry Pi 5 inside the classroom, one Pi for every four students, so no internet connection is needed. In the Robotics & AI Lab, Teachable Machine runs offline inside the Mcode and Groblox coding editors.
The lab runs offline. Students' chats stay on the Raspberry Pi in the classroom, so no outside company collects children's data. The teacher sets the rules every chatbot follows and can see every chat. Students are also taught to question and check every AI answer.
The Offline AI Lab and AI workshops are for Grade 6 onwards. The Robotics & AI Lab runs from Grade 3 to Grade 9. AI Savvy Educator is for teachers of any grade.
