| Lab usage | Whether the lab is actually used | Sessions held against sessions planned, school by school | Every month |
| Student participation | How many enrolled students take part | Share of enrolled students active in the lab | Every term |
| Girls' participation | Whether girls are included equally | Share of girls among active students and in team challenges (target: 50%) | Every term |
| Confidence and life skills | Problem solving, teamwork, communication | Student self-assessment on the eight pathway skills | Start · end of year |
| Teacher independence | Whether the school can run the lab alone | Share of sessions led by school teachers without our resource person | Every term |
| Showcase | Student work beyond the classroom | Projects presented and competitions entered | Every year |
Ready for independent impact assessment
Companies with an average CSR obligation of ₹10 crore or more must have CSR projects of ₹1 crore or more assessed by an independent agency. We keep baseline data, attendance records and assessment results in a form an outside assessor can audit.

Which Schedule VII category does a school STEM lab fall under?
Clause (ii): promoting education, including employment-enhancing vocational skills.
Can a CSR partner choose the schools and district?
Yes. We propose schools based on need, and you approve the final list.
Can a CSR program with Anylan Foundation be independently assessed?
Yes. We keep baseline data, attendance records and assessment results in a form an independent assessor can audit. This supports Rule 8(3) of the CSR Rules, which requires companies with a CSR obligation of ₹10 crore or more to assess projects of ₹1 crore or more.
Can we visit a working lab before funding?
Yes. We'll arrange a visit to a working lab near you.

Yes. Co-branded signage is part of every lab.
Who owns the lab equipment after a CSR project?
The school. The lab is handed over to the school. Under Rule 7(4) of the CSR Rules, equipment bought with CSR funds cannot stay on the company's books. It must be held by an eligible body, such as a public authority, and government schools are run by public authorities.
How is student data protected in Anylan Foundation's labs?
It stays in the school. Every kit works offline, so student work stays on the school's own devices rather than going to outside platforms.
