Computer labs that stand idle
Many school computer labs go unused: the internet is weak, the software needs a connection, and teachers haven’t been trained to teach with them.
Our ICT labs run offline, come with a curriculum, and start with teacher training.

ICT Lab & Curriculum: common questions
What is an ICT lab for schools?
An ICT lab is a school computer lab where students learn digital skills and coding. Anylan Foundation sets up ICT labs on tablets, Raspberry Pi or Windows computers, with a digital-skills curriculum that runs without the internet, funded through CSR.
Does the ICT lab need the internet?
No. The lab is designed to run offline, and student work stays on the school’s own devices.
Which devices does the ICT lab use?
Tablets, Raspberry Pi or Windows computers. We choose what fits the school’s budget and space, including devices the school already has.
Do students need to know English?
Not to start. Block coding works in Hindi, Marathi or English. Text coding in Python, in the higher grades, is in English.
Can an existing computer lab be upgraded?
Yes. We assess the lab first, then plan the devices, setup and curriculum it needs.
Can CSR funds be used for this lab in a government school?
Yes. Promoting education is listed under Schedule VII (ii) of the Companies Act, 2013. Anylan Foundation is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to implement CSR projects (CSR-1: CSR00096762).
