What is a Science & Maths Lab?
A Science & Maths Lab is a fitted school room with models, charts and specimens that make science and maths concepts visible and hands-on: physics, chemistry and biology, plus maths and geometry aids. Anylan Foundation sets it up in government schools that follow the state boards or CBSE, with teacher training and support, funded through CSR.

Science learnt only from the textbook
Many government schools teach science and maths from the textbook alone. Without models to handle or experiments to watch, principles such as levers, light and magnetism stay words on a page.
A Science & Maths Lab turns those lessons into something students can see, touch and test.
CBSE's Affiliation Bye-Laws require a composite science lab of at least 9 m × 6 m in secondary schools. The Science & Maths Lab follows that pattern, and works just as well for state-board schools.

What is a Science & Maths Lab?

Anylan Foundation sets it up in government schools, with teacher training and support, funded through CSR.
Is the Science & Maths Lab only for CBSE schools?
