Is the Composite Skill Lab mandatory for CBSE schools?
Yes, for CBSE-affiliated schools, under CBSE Circular Skill-75/2024. Existing schools must comply by 22 August 2027.
Does the Composite Skill Lab apply to state-board schools?
No. It is a CBSE requirement. For state-board schools, we recommend the Science & Maths Lab, the Robotics & AI Lab or the Innovation & Tinkering Lab instead.
Can the school's existing computer lab be used?
Often, yes. We assess what the school already has before planning the lab.
Can CSR funds be used for this lab in a government school?
Yes. Promoting education is listed under Schedule VII (ii) of the Companies Act, 2013. Anylan Foundation is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to implement CSR projects (CSR-1: CSR00096762).
